Last year on the 21st November, my birthday,  the Film “They Are We” Premiered in the UK at the London Latin American Film Festival, an established film festival directed by the power force of Cuban born Eva Tarr-Kirkhope Llaff . Making Ocha and the Initiation Procedure.

This little blog is directed to anyone who is thinking of taking the step to make Ocha. In particular I will emphasis the year of initiation, the Iyawo year, the so called year in white, What does it mean to make Ocha? Our Religion, A Green Religion

 I was crowned in Cuba in February 2006, however my path towards Kariocha was a very long and winding one.  It was not like many stories I  hear about these days.
